Customers praised this refurbishment kit for extending pedal lifespan. Instructions are "very considerate" with alternative tool options and video walkthrough. While rebuilding can be "a bit difficult" and bushings are "hard to get out," shoppers found it "worth it" to save pedals from becoming trash after years of hard use.

Make Daggas last longer

Simple kit to re-furbish Dagga pedals. Best thing is if you don't have the specific tool for bushing replacement, the instructions list options for what common tools can be used instead. Very considerate.

Perfect

Chromag even tells you how to remove the bearing, even if you don't have the specific tool.

Saves pedals

I like my Dagga pedals. So when the bushing wore out after years of hard use in wet weather, instead of the pedals being trash, a simple rebuild keeps em on my bike! Rebuilding is a bit difficult but it is worth it. Long live the Daggas

Great, but didn't need all the parts

I ended up changing most of the parts, but not the bushing as they were hard to get out. Pedals work great now, in hindsight I could have probably tried just cleaning and re-greasing first as the bearings/axles looked to be in great shape.
I just changed them as I had them apart and the kit in front of me.

Axle Kit

The kit had everything I needed to refresh my pedals, super easy to do and the video walk through answered any questions I did have.

I have Dagga pedals but one has developed play on the inner bushing and it clicks when riding, I don't see any rebuild kits. What is the remedy?

- Chromag Crew:

Hi Hans,
thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that is happening.
You could buy a kit for the Scarab pedals, and re-use your existing end caps - as that is the only difference in the kits.

Hope this helps,
please reach out if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Hi Chromag, I have a set of Pilot's on my Nukeproof Mega and when stripping and cleaning the pedals I've damaged the right side nut (left handed thread). Would you be able to tell me what the nut size is and thread pitch? I think it's an M6 fine thread, left hand. Pedals are in great condition otherwise. I'm in Australia and there is not local shops that sell the axle kit. Thanks in advance. Sam

- Chromag Crew:

Hello Sarah,

Pedal axles use a M6x0.75 nut, if it is the silver nut on the right hand pedal it is a reverse thread (left hand thread) but it is still the same size and pitch. M6x0.75.

I hope this helps.
